Liz took off on her first steps last Thursday, leaving the block cart (a constant companion for the last month) behind for a couple of tottering steps on her own. She then took a fews days off, but by Tuesday was often taking three or four steps and yesterday walked a good dozen steps to cross the room.
Well done Lizzie.
Liz started taking her first steps this week, aided by one ofthe chairs at playgroup, and a slippery wooden floor. She followed it up that night with a demonstration for daddy, walking behind a little wooden trolley.
Liz started crawling on Saturday! She’s been rolling around everywhere for weeks, and she started inching backwards on Friday, but on Saturday she just took off forwards. Not fast, but moving. Fun times ahead.
Liz has started rolling over, which is really a bit earlier than usual, but it’s not a accident when she does 7-8 times over a week. She is really strong in the neck, and able to hold her head up really well (and arch her back when she’s got a sore tummy)
At 11:31pm on 09/06/05, Elizabeth Rose Snell came into the world at Mitcham Private Hospital, weighing in at 3450g (7lb 9oz). Both are doing really well.
